SIEGE
It’s that time again for the super fun, always awesome SIEGE conference down in Atlanta. For the first time ever, SIEGE will be having a Rant session in the style of the one at GDC, hosted by Puzzles By Joe’s Joe Cassavaugh. Based on what I’ve seen from the topics presented by the other Ranters, it should be quite a show (If you like angry people, you’ll like this panel). I’ll be ranting about internet whiners, trolls, and the general scourge of negativity plaguing the gaming interwebs. None shall be spared, I don’t care what your beef is, why your criticism is important, who you are, or what you had for dinner. Stop the goddamned whining already.
I’m also completed humbled to be speaking on a panel about Writing for Games, with legendary greats Warren Spector, Paul Jenkins, and Bill Bridges. Yeah….I still stare stupidly at the screen every time I type that.
If you’re down in the Atlanta area this weekend, I urge you to go check it out (the complete schedule can be found here) – it really is hands down my favorite industry convention, and you have no excuse not to go if it’s within travel distance. Inexpensive, good size, and fantastic panelists. Done and done, get your butt there. Dooooo iiiiiiiit.
Siege Schedule:
-
Saturday 3:30 – 4:30 PM : Writing for Games

Small SSNSRPG Update
We’ve also pushed a small update to the SSNSPRG Demo which fixed some horrible bugs, hid a few things that shouldn’t have been visible, and addressed a few performance issues. Please keep sending in those bug and feedback reports, they’re super helpful and much appreciated. 🙂
And cause every update needs pictures, some new zone work:
